Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information StarCards™ collects, how it’s used, and the commitments we make to protect it. The short version: we will never sell your data, and we will never share it with third parties except where strictly necessary to operate the service.
What We Collect
When you create an account and use StarCards, we collect:
- Account information — your name and email address.
- Content you create — your daily cards, notes, memories, tasks, and any other data you enter into the app.
- Usage information — basic logs of how you interact with the service (page visits, feature usage) to help us improve the product.
- Payment information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing is handled by our payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number.
- Device and browser information — standard technical information sent by your browser, such as IP address and user agent, used for security and diagnostics.
How We Use It
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the StarCards service.
- Authenticate your account and keep it secure.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.

We do not use your personal content — your cards, notes, or memories — for any purpose other than delivering the service to you.

Third-Party Service Providers
To operate StarCards, we work with a small number of trusted third-party services. These providers are given access only to the information necessary to perform their specific function and are not permitted to use your data for any other purpose. These include:
- Hosting infrastructure — our application and database run on cloud servers.
- Payment processing — subscription billing is handled by a PCI-compliant payment processor (e.g., Stripe).
- Email delivery — transactional emails are sent via a third-party email service.
We do not embed third-party advertising scripts, tracking pixels, or analytics platforms that share data with outside parties.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and content will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (e.g., billing records for tax purposes).

You have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Export your content in a portable format (where technically available).

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you by email and update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
